H/T to Dirty Harry's place

Too little, too late for Hillary Clinton, who tried unsuccessfully to use Ayers as an issue against Obama. The look of scorn on Obama's face as Hillary makes what turns out to be some truly prophetic points says it all. Between Rezko, Wright and Ayers, there's a lot not to like about Obama's leftist, radical associations in Chicago. Not the least of which is his mastery of Saul Alinsky's community organizing tactics.
All this has led this McCain supporter to wish that Hillary was the Democratic nominee and not Barry Obama. I would have a lot less heartburn over a Democratic victory (which currently looks likely) if Hillary were elected. We just don't know what Obama stands for or truly believes. At least with the Clintons, I have eight years of empirical evidence of what they will do if in power. I've come to the conclusion that a centrist Democrat with a record of fiscal responsibility (albeit they pushed for universal health care and soaked the rich with higher taxes) is far preferable to the unknown that an Obama presidency will bring.
Obama shows no inclination at all to be fiscally responsible and threatens to send this country far down the road to real socialism. But Hillary is not on the ballot (not that I would vote for her anyway). I urge all Hillary supporters to consider a write in vote for Hillary or voting for McCain. At any rate, don't waste your vote on Obama. It's increasingly clear he is far to the left of the Clintons. I'll take center-right (McCain) or even center-left (Clinton) any day over far left.
